Ballet Cymru is delighted to welcome to the stage the wonderful Duets Scholars from
Ysgol Y Cribarth
‘Within a Dream’
created by the Ysgol y Cribarth Duets scholars, Clara Rust and Bethan Cooper.
This dance explores themes of disguise, mistaken identities, magic, mischief and celebration. After reading Shakespeare’s, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the dancers chose imagery and concepts they were inspired by. From workshopping these ideas to creative tasks and selecting music, the scholars and their teachers have devised this dance together and they are all delighted to share it with you this evening. We hope you enjoy!
